Delta Lions Club
The Delta Lions Club, chartered in 1958 by Lions International, meets twice each month. For meeting and membership information call Totsie Pursey at 895-4256. Visiting Lions are welcome. Additional information can be found on the Lions Club International website. The Delta Lions Club is in District 49D.
The Lions Club serves a pancake breakfast during the annual Deltana Fair, collects old eyeglasses for redistribution and has other fund raising events throughout the year. The club presents one scholarship to a local graduate each year and supports various youth activities within the community, as well as continuing efforts in sight conservation.
